I must say, Ciao Cielo is one of my favourite spots to delve into some exquisite Italian cuisine. From the moment me & my pals entered the restaurant we were welcomed by a lovely lady who arrived straight from Italy herself, very authentic touch. I appreciated the interior, it was taking me straight to Nonna’s home if she lived in an old church & if I had a Nonna. Now food. I selected the infamous Bolognese, and OH MY DAYS this hit the spot, the pasta to sauce ratio was everything I needed. Now, something about myself & my fellow dinner pals is, we are quite gluttonous with the parmesan…. & proud. In saying this, naturally we were in desperate need of a parmesan mountain, so my only negative is the multiple attempts of us quite intensely and not subtly eyeing down all the staff members for a solid 5 minutes, if not 7. I even did the good old ‘hand wave’ & faced rejection head on, having to play it off as just testing the air flow in the room. (which I can confirm was nice & cosy) Luckily I am quick on my toes, otherwise that could have been a very embarrassing moment to spoil my appetite. Other than that, chef kiss mmMM!!! Ciao for now!
